What patients say
When I got to nearly seventy I found that I'd got the 'yes
but...' syndrome. It's not just one thing wrong with you but several
for example, I need to exercise for my arthritis, but the pain a makes
it difficult not to get tense and then my asthma starts to play up and
I worry about my glaucoma and cataracts, which affects my blood
pressure. When I had my first consultation with Sara she listened and
talked me through what was wrong and how I was feeling. Then she made
me up a herbal tonic - and not only that but she explained why she was
suggesting each ingredient (which most doctors never do!). That made
a real difference to me. What I like about Sara is that she's not
'waffly'. She's got a strong medical background and she explains how
things affect one another instead of treating each one separately.
Now I've got my energy and positive feelings back again thank
goodness

I am happy to talk about the help Sara gave me with post
menopausal symptoms. I had very bad hot flushes for some time after my
menopause. These abated except for my scalp which continued to sweat
profusely in hot - and even not so hot - weather. Nothing my doctor
prescribed helped me in the least. I was at the end of my tether when
I consulted Sara during a trip to the UK . She prescribed a mixture
which - to my huge delight (and surprise) brought almost instant
relief. I am happy to attest to the efficiency of medical herbalism in
treating post menopausal symptoms and very glad that such a
knowledgeable practitioner is now practicing in New Zealand

I consulted Sara for help with severe menopausal flushes following surgery. Her herbal treatments and advice made a huge difference and have greatly improved my quality of life. And I am convinced the oil she prescribed cured my carpal tunnel syndrome.

Finding a good herbalist, is such a treasure. Unfortunatley there are far too gypsies hanging their sign promising cures. A good herbalist will have studied many years their craft and will work in conjunction with doctors, encouraging their patients to see their GP or specialists concerning their health.
I found Sara Hamers herbal remedies would help relieve my symptoms to endometrosis, and upon her suggestion I got checked for food alergies, which proved that I was a celliac, eating the wrong foods aggraviated my endemetrosis. When I was introduced to the right food for my condition, the pain went. However it would come back, sharply near my lump sometimes. She urged me to see the doctor about my lump which my GP had told me many years before was a hernia, after many GP's, the so called hernia was in fact a lipoma, which I had to have removed in an emergency surgery. Sara admitted she did not know what the lump was, but it's important to insist to my GP that I see a specialist. Upon her advice I did. The specialist told me that's no hernia, and sent me to another specialist, who could not believe I lived for so long with a life threatening lipoma, which pressed against vital organs which could have burst at any moment, which which explains why I was in so much pain.
If it was not for Sara, I would never have had the courage to go back to my GP and insist on seeing a specialist, and I would have never of discovered I was a celliac. She proved to be a good doctor listening to her patient, and advising to see other doctors when she wasn't sure of something. I only wish she was still practised near me.
